Tyro Christian Church offers a variety of approaches for you to grow spiritually in your Bible knowledge.
Facets of Spiritual Growth Classes:
| 1. | Membership Class...This deals with the issues of Biblical requirements of membership in our congregation. We also teach on the basic foundations of the Christian life and the organization and leadership of the Tyro Christian Church. This class is taught by Evangelist: David Bycroft and meets in the main auditorium each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. |
| 2. | Maturity Class...These lessons will help you establish spiritual disciplines to keep you growing into the image of Christ. We believe these truths are mandatory for every believer. This class is taught by Deacon: Harty Blackert and meets in the trailer just north of the gym each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. |
| 3. | Ministry Class...We will help you discover your Biblical gifts (talents) and how you can use them here in the TCC fellowship. People leave this class excited to know God's Will for their lives. This class is taught by Elders: Dale Hand and Steve Songer and meets in the trailer just north of the gym each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. |
| 4. | Mission Class...You will learn how you can effectively help other people desire a relationship with Christ. It will help eliminate the fear that is associated with witnessing to your family and friends. This class is taught by Paul Stewart & John Tickle and meets in the trailer just north of the gym each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. |
Home P.L.U.S. Groups
Our Home groups meet in a variety of area towns on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings. PLUS stands for PRAYING, LEARNING, UPLIFTING, and SEEKING. These groups are listed in the bulletin each week and you are welcome in any of them. These small groups are relaxing and encouraging. You can call the church if you need help locating a group for you!
At Tyro Christian Church we encourage everyone to join a group or groups. This not only helps in a persons maturity as a Christian it also allows us to build long lasting friendships with others on a closer, smaller group basis. Each group has it own unique characteristics with the main focus being on Jesus Christ.
